With new RED One camera in hand, Red Productions couldn’t wait to start rolling. As luck would have it, client and Alma Mater, TCU was en route to compete in their first ever BCS Bowl game. Red Sanders, Greg Beauchamp and Sam Parnell were given all-access passes to catch the action from the sidelines. “We set up in the end zone seconds before TCU scored their first BCS Bowl touchdown and were so excited to have captured that moment,” said Sanders when asked about his experience on the field. Although TCU wasn’t able to come home with a BCS victory under their belts, Red Productions was proud to capture this momentous event in TCU’s history and came back with stellar footage from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
As the football season wrapped, Red Productions ventured to Cowboys Stadium for another RED cam sideline adventure. The Cowboys were hosting the Philadelphia Eagles and scored their first playoff win since 1996. “The images from the RED One camera are crisp, vibrant and downright stunning to look at. Filming the action on the sidelines took the experience to a whole new level. For three hours, I was able to enjoy two things I love the most, filming and the Dallas Cowboys. It just doesn’t get any better than that,” said Chris Rodriguez after his sideline experience. Along with Rodriguez, Sam Parnell donned an official NFL press vest and they made their way to the center of the action. “It was a combination of two amazing things – being there for an amazing Cowboys playoff win and getting to shoot with one of the best cameras out there,” said Parnell.
For the past four years, Red Productions has created the season opener videos for the Cowboys that play at the Kickoff Luncheon and before each home game. This new footage will hopefully be the beginning of several more opportunities with them.
