## Corporate Social Responsibility Video Finalists Announced

Ten finalists from The Center for Corporate Citizenship’s annual Film Festival will be displayed at the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Conference in Phoenix later this month. Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR, is the concept that a for-profit company has obligations to look out for the welfare of its employees, the community, and society as a whole in addition to their business. Corporate Social Responsibility’s purpose is to increase its profits and/or maximize the business’ longterm value. Consumers and investors both prefer working with companies that are socially responsible.
